had dinner with liz last night at benissimo. pretty good place. great spicy tuna pasta and superb pistacchio gelato. perfect for a long and refreshing conversation with one of my very good friends on her 27th (oops, was i not supposed to share that?!) birthday.
we talked about everything--from relationships, our school, our careers, to our friends, our plans in life... we even went as far as talking about the wonders of the world and how we are at constant high thinking about the exciting places we have yet to visit all over! of course, great dinners wouldn't be complete without their share of chismisan whinings, rantings and intrigahan. ;-)
this is what i love about talking to liz.. we never run out of things to share. the ball just keeps on rolling and before we know it, it's already 11:30pm!
i'm thankful for friends like her. they keep me grounded and remind me of how i used to be back when we were still younger and more idealistic... but at the same time they inspire me to reach higher and further for things life has to offer.
